HOMEMADE PANCAKE MIX

We love our Saturday morning pancake breakfasts but I hate serving my kids things full of preservatives and often the easy pancake mixes you buy are full of chemicals and items I don’t want them to have.

This Homemade Pancake Mix is a great way to save time on your early breakfast mornings while keeping the unwanted things from your diet.  It can also be easily adapted with wheat flour if preferred.

This recipe has two steps, a make-ahead mix and then a few fresh liquid ingredients you add when you are ready to make some pancakes.

FAQS ABOUT EASY PANCAKE MIX:

Q: How simple is it to make pancakes with mix?

A: It couldn’t be any easier. All you have to do is follow the directions, and before you know it, you’ll be starting at a stack of pancakes.

Q: Is it possible to make waffles with a pancake mix?

A: Absolutely. You just need to follow the directions the same that you would but place the batter in a waffle maker instead. Add just a little bit of oil to the batter or use a cooking spray on your waffle maker to prevent sticking.
