Easy Spinach Artichoke Dip Recipe

We love this warm creamy spinach dip that is sure to impress at any party. It’s an easy appetizer that can be prepared ahead of time and then popped into the oven for a gooey and delicious dip. This can easily be made into a gluten free appetizer by baking in a small casserole dish and serving with gluten free tortilla chips.

Spinach Artichoke Dip

You're going to love this delicious, healthy, creamy Spinach Artichoke dip! It's oh-so cheesy and can even be made completely gluten free! Plus, you can prepare this easy appetizer recipe ahead of time and then just bake to warm when ready to serve.

Ingredients:

  • 1 round bread loaf
  • ½ cup diced onion
  • 1 tsp (small clove) minced garlic
  • 2 cups chopped spinach
  • 1 package cream cheese soften
  • ½ cup shredded mozzarella
  • 1/3 cup shredded parmesan
  • 3 tbsp mayonnaise
  • ½ artichoke heart pieces
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp pepper
  • 2 tsp olive oil

Saute onions in olive oil for 2 minutes and add garlic. Continue to cook until translucent then add chopped spinach. Stir until just wilted. Set aside and cool. (Note* you can use frozen spinach for this recipe. Just defrost and drain as much as possible no need to cook.)

In a bowl mix together soften cream cheese and mayo. Add in all other ingredients and stir until evenly blended. (This mixture can be refrigerated and used the following day at room temp.)

Prepare your bread round by cutting out the top and scooping out the bread to make a bowl. Slice up your top and bread pieces and bake in a 350 degree oven for 8-10 min until toasted.

Pour your blended dip in the bread bowl. Wrap bowl in foil to keep from over browning bread and place on a baking sheet. Bake in 350 degree oven for 30-40 mins or until its bubbling and browning.

Serve warm with your toasted bites and enjoy the creamy goodness.
