Hard Rock Cafe has long been recognized for its rock ‘n roll atmosphere and iconic locations all across the globe. Well, now they’re back with a range of new menu items joining their menu’s “greatest hits”. Their new menu is based on three main concepts:
- Fresh – High-quality, earth-friendly ingredients strike a chord with Hard Rock chefs who are committed to serving the freshest produce and hand-made dressings for every salad, steaks that are nothing less than center-cut, corn-fed and aged for 21 days, and salmon from the immaculate fjords of Norway.
- Legendary – Just like the rockers who once owned the memorabilia lining Hard Rock’s walls, the burgers that the Hard Rock serves are nothing short of “legendary”; now, you can enhance your experience and substitute grilled chicken breast for any Legendary Experience menu item.
- Smokehouse – Reminiscent of good old-fashioned Southern barbeque, new smokin’ menu items offer unique flavors from a variety of regional Bar-B-Que styles, from the classic pulled pork to the exotic Asian-style “Shang Hi” sandwich.
We heading out to the Phoenix Hard Rock Cafe with our 3 boys and my brother who meet up with us at the restaurant. The last time I ate at a Hard Rock Cafe was in New York City back in 2005 that my now spouse and I went on together before we were engaged. It was fun to reminisce about past great times we’ve had over the years and visit a different Hard Rock Cafe location! I ordered Hard Rock’s “Legendary” Burger that is topped with bacon, cheese, tomato, lettuce, pickles, and an onion ring and served with fries! The burger was decent and the fries were good. I think Hard Rock Cafe’s food is just okay, nothing extraordinary. The burger didn’t have a ton of flavoring to it, though the toppings added were a great combination. I finished off my meal with a dessert from their “Bites” menu. The bites are a single serve smaller dessert, which sounded perfect! Plus, they are decently priced at just $2.99. I picked their Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie Bite, which actually came in a cup, not on a plate like I was expecting. It was a thick and very rich mousse type of dessert. It was really good, but way to rich to eat by itself. Luckily my brother had ordered a sundae and I swapped him some of my dessert for a few scoops of ice cream and they were heavenly together! The atmosphere was fun and we enjoyed watching the music videos and checking out all the guitars donated by different rock stars that were showcased throughout the restaurant.
Next time you’re traveling or headed near a Hard Rock Cafe, stop in to check out their menu and grab a bite to eat! How many Hard Rock Cafe’s have you been to?
