I received the Majamas Quartz Top to review. It has a pull up nursing section which means it has overlapping layers of fabric over the bust and you can pull up the one layer to reveal nursing slits below. I found the shirt a bit hard to use as I still had to reach down through the neck hole to un-clip my nursing bra and move the layers out of the way and then raise the pull up section to use the nursing slits in the shirt. I imagined a nursing shirt being a lot easier, but it did still require a lot of tucking and pulling and moving of fabric to make way for baby. It was nice to still have shirt covering my back, sides, and belly and also I was able to nurse much easier in an infant carrier with this nursing top as I didn’t have to pull the whole shirt up (and through the carrier) to be able to nurse. I liked the feel of the shirt though, it was made from nice material and it was fun to have something a bit different then what I normally wear. I’d like to try some of the other nursing cuts eventually to see if I can find one that works better for me.
