We were looking to upgrade our old and outdated computer without having to start completely from scratch. We were able to add a new AMD A8 processor from their second generation line which was a huge upgrade from our previous processor that was about 6 years old. We also upgraded our motherboard, memory, and hard drive while we were at it. With new HyperX Predator high frequency RAM kit our RAM was increased 8 folds making our computer run really fast. Our Kingston 128 gigabyte solid state drive now gives us super quick boot up time as well as better system performance overall. We kept the same video card that we had before but will be looking to update that here in the future as well. In all we got a new and extremely faster computer for what would only be around $500 to $600 to upgrade.
Whether you’re looking to improve the performance of your older computers or looking to build a new computer from scratch, be sure to check out AMD and their new second-generation processors available at your favorite computer parts retailer.
