Farmer Jason, an award-winning, internationally acclaimed family music artist, will release a new collection of original songs and music videos on a brand new music label myKaZoo Music through Universal Music Enterprises on February 7, 2012. Nature Jams features guest appearances from top artists and will be the debut release from the new label. myKaZootv, a new 24/7 interactive kids’ entertainment channel, will premiere additional music videos based on these songs early this year.
Nature Jams is a high-value, kid-friendly gift package of 16 original songs, 4 music videos and a colorful 20-page booklet created by über designer Brad Talbott. The idea is to get kids excited about the big world around them, observing various animals (“Meadowlark in Central Park,” “Manatee,” and “Dison the Bison”), learning about cool places around the world and simply enjoying nature. “The point is to motivate kids to get outside and excite their curiosity about the world around them,” says Jason.
I am always willing to check out any new kid’s albums. I figure the more I get, the less I have to listen to the exact same songs over and over! I was able to download Farmer Jason – Nature Jams and my kids have had a blast listening to it! The songs are upbeat, catchy and have them dancing and singing along for the entire CD. I really like the introductions at the beginning of the songs. I couldn’t believe how many guest stars collaborated on this album! One of my favorites is Brandi Carlisle. It was really cool to hear her with Farmer Jason on “Have You Ever”. This album definitely encourages kids to get outdoors and observe the world around them.
