We’ve had so much fun with these two completed projects. We had a rain day just about a week after I made the umbrella, and my son was thrilled to take the personalized umbrella with him to school.
My younger boys have played with our treasure map a bunch of times over the past few weeks. They have set off on an imaginary hunt both indoors and out. We have a ditch behind our home to collect rain when we get flash floods. When the weather is clear, it’s the perfect place to have an adventure!

Fun projects! Something I can do with my kids over the holiday break. We’re not traveling, so we can have some fun at home.
The kids and I love to do treasure hunts. A fun adventure to plan for them and they love going on adventures.
Two of our three littlest ones are big fans of Jake and the Neverland Pirates, I think doing the treasure map for them will be a fun project for the bigger kids to do. Maybe we’ll even put some ‘treasure” at the end of the map.

Both of these projects are so fun! I think my kids would love to decorate their umbrellas like this, and I think it’s a unique and thoughtful gift for someone who is down.
