November might mean lots of different things to your family. In our home, it means birthdays! We had two really big birthdays this November in our home, I turned 30 and my youngest turned 1! Of course November also means Thanksgiving and Black Friday as well. But there’s a lesser known event in November, it’s National Pomegranate Month!

We spent my little ones first birthday celebrating with our good friend and her family as she shares my son’s birthday. We watched as she opened her presents and it was so fun to see one of her gifts was a pomegranate! I never would have thought to gift a pomegranate but it’s a tradition and she gets one every year for her birthday!
