Rustic Vintage Home Decor

As I have mentioned in previous posts, I LOVE decorating (and redecorating) my home. I get so excited when I come across a unique piece to make my house feel like a home.

Whenever I bring home some new decor, my husband usually rolls his eyes and gives me the “really?” look. However, I recently stumbled upon home decor by BlueJay Loves that even caused husband respond with a “cooool”.

BlueJay Loves creates handcrafted vintage design pieces for your home. BlueJay Loves will bring a unique touch to your home decor through their Whitewash Rustic Ladder.

This 60″ tall x 13″ wide foot ladder is perfect for displaying blankets, towels, rags, etc. Whether you choose to feature this sturdy handmade 5 rung step ladder in your living room, kitchen, or bathroom, you will bring a farmhouse feel into your home.

I am in LOVE with my 5 rung Whitewash Step Ladder! Although it has various uses, right now, I have it displayed in my kitchen as a pot holder. Every time guests come over for dinner, I receive many compliments pertaining to the ladder’s vintage design.

The ladder’s sturdy build and distressed touch brings an incredible rustic feel into my kitchen. BlueJay Loves truly designs to perfection; what a creative way to hang kitchen towels!

BlueJay Loves also offers a variety of other unique home decor pieces; the “Never Grow Up” nursery sign is among my favorites. Handcrafted from reclaimed wood, this 23″ tall x 16″ wide wooden plaque is perfect for any child’s playroom or nursery. This rustic piece of art will add a tasteful touch to your home.

I love finding fun ways to decorate my son’s nursery. I truly feel that the words “Never Grow Up” express my feelings towards my 8 month old little boy; sometimes I just with I could hit the “pause” button and savor every moment.

The white hand painted letters on the sign create a very personalized feel to the wooden plaque. With hanging hardware intact, BlueJay Loves “Never Grow Up” sign hangs sturdily in my son’s room. This vintage sign adds such fun character to my home.

To bring incredible design and character into your home, purchase BlueJay Loves vintage home decor ($10-$50). For more information concerning prices and other products, visit BlueJay Loves. Also, check out BluJay Loves’ blog.

I received product samples and/or compensation in exchange for this post. The opinions expressed above are my own. Any claims should be verified on the sponsor’s site.

  11. I love repurposed items and piece would a touch rustic outdooriness to any room.
I think I prefer the unwhite washed finish, though–just don’t care for painted furniture.
