Rolfs Salon Review – Check out my Makeover!!

Rolfs Salon is a high quality salon with professional stylists and an atmosphere that you will love! They offer services for hair, skin, makeup, and even waxing and bridal services. I love the quote found on the mirror at my seat at Rolfs Salon which really demonstrates the dedication to continued training and professional talented stylists. “We held 32 advanced training classes is 2009. I had a really fun opportunity to go get a makeover at Rolfs Salon. I had never done anything like this before and was so excited for a day of pampering and getting all dolled up! When I arrived at Rolfs Salon I was surprised right away by how large the salon was and the beautiful appearance inside! The salon has a beautiful front greeting/waiting area and then you are taking to a changing area where you can remove your shirt if you’d like or just put your robe on right over your shirt. Then, you are escorted back to the main area of the salon which has an open feel which makes you feel like you are a part of the group and all the happenings about you. I had a great stylist who was easy to talk to and great at her job! She suggested some styles and colors she thought would work great and I was happy to go with her suggestions instead of opt for my “usual” picks. The first thing to be done was highlights and the highlights took about an hour to apply and then let set in my hair. This was a great time for me to be able to enjoy reading a book and relax while I waited. Next, we did a shampoo and conditioning treatment as well. When we got back to the chair and ready to start cutting my hair I could already see how beautiful the highlights were even with very wet hair! My stylist did a great job cutting and then styling my hair showing me how to tame my cowlick so it wouldn’t be a problem. She then made sure I was happy with my cut and that I didn’t need any adjustments.

Next, it was off to get my makeup done. We started with a brow and lip wax and then on to a full slew of makeup. I even got to try out fake lashes, which I had never tried before. They were very weird feeling at first, but I got used to them quickly. I ended up with a lot more makeup that I would ever really wear on a normal day so I felt a bit unnatural, but it was very fun to be all done up for the evening! I had such a great time at Rolfs Salon. I was very happy with the results and absolutely love my hair cut, even though I can’t quite get it to style the same again, I’m working on that part!
