We previously had reviewed the Kindergarten level Mathematical Reasoning book and my 5 year old who missed the birthday cutoff for the current school year breezed through the book since he loves Math. I was anxious to keep him learning and he really loved going through the book so I was excited to work with Critical Thinking Co again! This time we were able to review their Mathematical Reasoning Level B and Language Smarts Level B both of which are geared for first grade. These books are much more challenging for my 5 year old but they’ve provided the perfect atmosphere to give a challenge and an opportunity for learning! We’ve been working our way through the books but at a few pages a day as we talk about and work through the learning concepts. I absolutely love these books, they repeat the concepts over and over throughout the book building on previous lessons learned to increase their understanding. I feel like the books are very grade appropriate and are packed with valuable lessons for your children to learn. I absolutely recommend these books, they are a fabulous teach tool!
