Quinny Buzz Xtra Stroller Review

I remember finding out I was pregnant with my oldest. I was so excited to pick out a car seat, a stroller, and all that new baby gear. I remember talking to my husband about buying a high-end stroller and determining that we just didn’t have the money. As a new mom I learned really quickly that a nice stroller is worth a the extra dollars.

That first stroller we bought worked fine, but going back to it after trying the Quinny Buzz Xtra would be horrible! My eyes have been opened to a whole new world of stroller pushing I didn’t even know existed, and the funniest part is my toddler agrees. My 19-month-old request rides in her new stroller as a reward for things, I am not even exaggerating. She is so in love with her new ride.

The Buzz Xtra by Quinny is made to be comfortable. It features a super comfortable cushioned fabric seat. This seat can be installed both front facing and rear facing. It can be used from birth with the use of a Quinny Tukk Foldable Carrier or Maxi-Cosi carseat, if you don’t have one of these seats you can purchase an adapter for most of the other popular models. It has two reclining positions and an adjustable foot rest for the most comfortable ride.

It has great air-filled tires and a locking swivel front wheel that make it really easy to navigate city streets to dirt terrains with ease. The brakes are easy to engage/release by simply stepping on the appropriate pedal. Its push bar is height adjustable with just the push of a button, you can do it one handed! I would recommend buying stroller clips for your bag though. The basket is large, but the way it is situated makes it impossible for me to put my diaper bag below. Lunch bags, shopping bags, and small purses fit great.

As a mom I love that it unfolds automatically with its unique gas springs, and it folds up really easily too. The Buzz Xtra has a huge sunshade. Here in Arizona I really worry about my kids and sun exposure, this canopy is the best I have seen as far as real coverage.

My absolute favorite thing about this stroller is how high up the seat sits. I love that my little girl doesn’t miss anything because she is riding. How many times have you been the mom at the zoo buckling, and unbuckling that poor kid in the stroller who wants to see the animals, but can’t because their seat is too low. This seat completely eliminates that problem, it is so nice!

I am totally in love with this stroller, I honestly feel that it is worth the extra money for the high-end quality it provides. The only thing that could make it better would be if it was available as a double stroller!
