Homemade Brownie Mix in a Jar – Easy Gift!


Nothing compares to a fresh from the oven warm fudgy brownie.  This Homemade Brownie Mix is perfect to mix up and keep on hand for last minute brownies for the family.  No fuss, simple ingredients present a perfect brownie that can be transformed into a delectable dessert for dinner guests with a scoop of classic vanilla bean ice cream and luxuriant hot fudge sauce.  Also perfect for packing in jars and giving as a gift to teachers, friends, family and coworkers on birthdays, anniversaries and holidays.

Homemade Brownie Mix in a Jar

Ingredients:

  • 2 Cups All Purpose Flour
  • 1 Cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1 Teaspoon Baking Powder
  • 1 Teaspoon Salt
  • ¼ Cup Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
  • 1 Envelope (makes 1 cup) Nonfat Milk Powder (unmixed-powder)

Brownie Mix Ingredients

Mix ingredients together and store in airtight container for easy brownies at any time. May double or triple ingredients for large batches or to divide and give as gifts.

Add To Mix:

  • 1 Stick Unsalted Butter Melted
  • 1 Teaspoon Vanilla
  • 2 Eggs

Homemade Brownie Mix

Bake in pre-sprayed 9×13 pan for 35 minutes at 375 degrees or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
