Maytag Range Review! #MaytagMoms

This year, we had two big Thanksgiving meals. The first meal we hosted at our home with my family and we were in charge of cooking the turkey, stuffing, and potatoes. My husband always goes all out when cooking his turkey and creates a brine for the turkey to soak in overnight before it starts to cook the next day. This year’s turkey turned out absolutely delicious and we were able to pop in some yams to cook, too, as soon as the turkey was finished. While all of that was going on inside the oven we used the top of the range to prepare mashed potatoes, too. We also had a second meal the following Saturday with my husband’s family hosted at my sister-in-law’s house. Her husband had to work Thanksgiving day and her parents were traveling in Friday night, so they thought Saturday would work just as well for a family get together and feast. We were in charge of cooking a ham for our second meal. While our Maytag Range had it a bit easier the second day, it performed like a dream both days, no matter how many things we had to juggle and cook at the same time!

What I really love about this range is how HUGE it is inside! There is literally so much room inside the range that I could easily have cooked a turkey another dish all at the same time. That ham above is a massive ham, but it looks so small here! It’s laying in a 9×13 pan. The top of the range has some awesome features that we really love! One is the triple heat zone that lets you choose between three different sizes so you heat up just the size you need for the pan you are using. This is our go-to burner that we are always using! Another cool feature that we use when we are in a hurry is the speed heat burner. It brings water to boil super fast which is a huge time saver! We nearly always use this burner when we cook noodles as it saves us almost half our total cooking time. I have also noticed that the range cooks everything really evenly and performs great! I’m so very happy with our beautiful and efficient range!
