My kids always get so excited when they find a special surprise in their lunchbox! Sometimes that surprise is a favorite food or a piece of candy while other times it’s something more meaningful like a note of encouragement! We went to my son’s curriculum night a few weeks back and while there we were left with a piece of paper if we wanted to write anything to our children. I took a moment to write to my son to let him know I was proud of him for how hard he was working at school and how much he was learning and the I loved him very much. I knew that the note really meant a lot to him when a day or two later he came home from school with his own note back to me telling me that he loved me too!
Slipping a note into your child’s lunchbox is a fun way to let them know you were thinking about them or to help ease worries before a test or other difficult times for your child. Maybe they are having a hard time with a friend or have been fighting a cold – whatever the reason, lunchbox notes can cheer them up!
Here’s a Lunchbox Note, just for you!
