California Pizza Stones Review

California Pizza Stones is a second generation small family owned company.  They emphasize great customer satisfaction.  They have a 100% guarantee against cracking and thermal shock, and will replace it for free if for some reason it does.

Their pizza stones are rough and rugged.  They are made of a non-toxic mullite mixture with a high quantity of grog – which makes their stones virtually indestructible!  They offer pizza stones in various shapes and sizes, as well as pizza peels and pickling crocks.

California Pizza Stones Review & Giveaway

I have never baked with a pizza stone before and wasn’t sure what kind of difference it would make.  Only as of the past couple months have I been making my own, homemade dough for our homemade pizza nights.

I was amazed at the difference this California Pizza Stone made!  Our crust was baked just right!  And I loved having the pizza peel for ease of getting the pizza in and out of the oven.

We started out with something a little more basic to test it out – baking a Take ‘N’ Bake pizza.  On the California Pizza Stones website they even have a page with instructions on how to bake a perfect Papa Murphy’s Pizza on a stone.  Success!

I can’t believe how high quality this stone is – it definitely does seem indestructible (and that’s coming from a mom with a toddler!).  It really does bake the perfect pizza and I would recommend them to anyone!  They would make a perfect Christmas gift, too.

You can buy your California Pizza Stones off their website.  The round stones average anywhere from $16-55 depending on size.
