Knork Flatware – Review

Knork Flatware offers a unique and innovative Knork utensil, which combines a knife edge to the side of their fork to allow you to use this one utensil as both a knife and a fork. Thus the name of their flatware line – Knife + Fork = Knork.

Though their Knork can be used to cut food it’s edge is not sharp or serrated but is thinned to a beveled edge that allows you to cut through food without being harmful for use as a fork. Their design also lends to a smooth edge to press your finger against to assist in cutting.

They have serving sets and steak knives as well as plastic knorks which would be great for camping. Their flatware is available in 3 finishes: matte, glossy, and duo which is matte on the handled and a glossy head.

I was able to review a set of their matte flatware as well as a 4 pack of Knorks. The forks included with their flatware set does have a slight beveled edge and can cut through some things, but it is not as sharp and to a point as their Knorks are.

I tried really hard to get a picture of the difference, and maybe you can notice above. This flatware set is so nice! It feels heavy in my hand which makes it feel of substance. Their products are hand formed from a single solid bar of stainless steel so the pieces are each a solid piece which makes them very heavy duty and durable.

They cut through food really well. I used them on everything! From chicken to pizza to lasagna and everything else we’ve eaten over the past few weeks. It easily cuts through all the foods I tried and took no effort at all.

I have always been the type to use my fork to cut through my food, even if it took a ton of effort to do so. The knork though made it so easy I didn’t have to try sawing through my food to cut it, just rock the fork and place some pressure on the finger platform and it cut with ease.

This set looks really great with my dish set as well and has a sleek and modern look to it. I love my flatware set and definitely recommend them! I had been leaning towards a preferences for glossy, but I really love the matte finish!

You can find Knork Flatware on their website and on Amazon, their 4 place setting sets start at $85. You can also connect with Knork through Facebook and Twitter.
