Easy Chocolate Clafoutis Recipe

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of DairyPure Milk. All opinions are 100% mine.

A clafoutis is a classic french tart-based recipe with fruit. This easy clafoutis recipe takes just minutes of prep – measure, pour, blend – and then bakes to perfection for a decadent dessert that gives the look and feel of you spending a lot of time slaving over this treat when really it is about the easiest recipe you can make. Best of all, you’ll be surprised by just how good it is! Chocolaty, creamy, and sweet – it’s almost a blend between pudding and cake.

Lightly grease individual sized ramekins, then fill 2/3 way full. If desired, you can add a spoonful of a flavored filling now. I added a scoop of homemade strawberry freezer jam, and it paired great with the chocolate!

Bake the clafoutis for 35-40 minutes, or until it puffs up and is no longer jiggly.

Serve warm, as your dessert may flatten as it cools.

  1. I had never heard of a chocolate Clafoutis, always thought they were fruit. I sure see the inspiration in this dish. PS. I will be over later with my fork. LOL

  2. I have never made Clafoutis before. This looks like an easy recipe to make. I will have to give it a try.

  5. Seems yummy I may try this 🙂

But let’s call it a “flan” or a “crème catalane” instead of a clafouti
As you’ve mentioned it : clafouti is with fruit (actually the real one is made with cherries)
