Child Hunger Ends Here with ConAgra Foods and P&G #ChildHunger

I received compensation in exchange for this post. All opinions are my own.

I have two kids and they are the most precious things in my life. I hate to see them in pain of any kind. When they get their feelings hurt, I cry with them. When they fall and hurt themselves, I do everything in my power to take the pain away. I can’t imagine what I would do if my child was starving and I couldn’t make it better. The fact of the matter is, there are children right here in America who are experiencing just that, and it breaks my heart.Screen Shot 2014-04-09 at 9.33.36 PM More than one in five children, including more than one in four Latino children, in America have no idea where their next meal is coming from. That’s almost 16 million children, a number that could fill 8,000 playgrounds.

Hunger affects these children is so many ways. Besides the obvious physical and health related struggles, it can affect their educational capabilities and well-being. These children deserve the chance to learn and grow, to have a childhood filled with laughter and joy!

Screen Shot 2014-04-09 at 8.34.06 PMLucky for us there is something we can do to help. ConAgra Foods has partnered with P&G to build a community of people to make a difference and help donate up to 7 million meals through the Child Hunger Ends Here campaign.
