Child Hunger Ends Here with ConAgra Foods and P&G #ChildHunger

I have two kids and they are the most precious things in my life. I hate to see them in pain of any kind. When they get their feelings hurt, I cry with them. When they fall and hurt themselves, I do everything in my power to take the pain away. I can’t imagine what I would do if my child was starving and I couldn’t make it better. The fact of the matter is, there are children right here in America who are experiencing just that, and it breaks my heart. More than one in five children, including more than one in four Latino children, in America have no idea where their next meal is coming from. That’s almost 16 million children, a number that could fill 8,000 playgrounds.

Hunger affects these children is so many ways. Besides the obvious physical and health related struggles, it can affect their educational capabilities and well-being. These children deserve the chance to learn and grow, to have a childhood filled with laughter and joy!

For each 8-digit code entered at www.ChildHungerEndsHere.com from March-August 2014, ConAgra Foods or P&G, respectively, will donate the monetary equivalent of one meal to Feeding America.
