8 Uplifting Phrases Your Child Needs to Hear Each Day

A couple of weeks ago, my kids and I were having a really rough day. We were all grumpy, quick to make snappy comments, and felt on edge the entire day. As the night came, my husband and I sat down to discuss the events of the day. The question then dawned on me – how much of this behavior was due to my own unkind words? I decided to try a little experiment; for the entire next day, I would only use positive and uplifting words towards my children, I wouldn’t speak unkindly to them (or about them), and I would try to compliment them as often as possible. Guess what? The experiment worked! My entire family was happier and treated each other with more love and kindness. Since that day, I’ve continued to build up my children each day with these 8 uplifting phrases.
