We received a Ceramic Soup Pot from Xtrema to review. This pot is perfect for cooking soups, chili, and beans so we just had to try cooking Chili! Both my husband and I really love Chili, but neither of us had ever try to make our own chili. We sought out a recipe that looked delicious and made a few of our own adaptions based on what meat when had on hand and thought would be good in the mix. The Chili turned out AMAZING! It was really so delicious and it was simple and easy to cook in the Xtrema Soup Pot.

The unique design of this pot kept the entire pot of chili hot, even long after it had been removed from the stove top. Plus, the unique design of the pot really adds so much fun and flair to cooking! We had family over to enjoy the Chili with us and they both commented on how neat the pot looked, reminding them of a witches brew! This pot will be awesome for this year’s annual Chili and Cornbread cookout we participate in with our ward each Halloween. Not only will the food stay hot it will give a really cool ambiance to the meal as well! We’ve since gone on to experiment and try out other recipes and things to try cooking in this Soup Pot. My husband made up a nice hearty meat sauce for our pasta in this Soup Pot and it worked great and cooked everything evenly even though the pot was nearly completely full.
