Summer Fashion on a Budget

I love everything about summertime: going to baseball games, grilling hamburgers, swimming in the pool, devouring popsicles, etc. Although summer is perfect for enjoying various activities, my favorite part of summer is definitely summer fashion. However, being the wife to a PA Student, our clothing budget is not very large. Thankfully, by shopping at thredUP, my son and I can wear “like new” designer clothes for a fraction of price. By glancing at this picture, would you ever guess that my blouse is second hand? This is something that I love about thredUP – each “gently used” article of clothing comes in pristine condition. By shopping on thredUP’s website, I can buy high-quality “gently used” clothing from all of my favorite brands, in the comfort of my own home. I love wearing this short sleeved striped blouse from The Limited ($11.49) with mint cuffed pants and a coral statement piece necklace; plus, that pocket on the front of the blouse is to die for.

Perfect for date night with the hubby, I love pairing my light knit Gap blouse ($11.99) with patterned floods and a little bit of bling.

Now let’s talk about these FANTASTIC shoes. These Simply Vera Wang Heels ($14.49) are one of my favorite thredUP purchases of all time. Besides wearing these heels with my patterned pants, I love pairing them with a black pencil skirt and blouse.

So, I’m a little bit obsessed with this Ann Taylor Blouse ($7.49) Its light and flowing material is perfect for summertime.

  13. I love this store because they have such a fantastic selection. We live in a small town with only a few stores that sell clothing, and two are very high priced. That means that a lot of kids in the school end up wearing the same thing.
