Step2 Sand & Water Fun Farm Review

Step2 is the largest American manufacturer of preschool and toddler toys. They have two large plants in northern Ohio and distribute products to retailers throughout the US, Canada, and even to over 70 other countries! They have a wide variety of products in categories like creative play, outdoor play, kids furniture and many more!

Step2 Neat & Tidy Cottage Review

One of their fun products that helps inspire your children’s imaginative play is their Neat & Tidy Cottage! This cottage has a molded-in floor that keeps your kids out of the dirt and mud while they play! It features an open design so you can easily keep your eyes on your children while they play and allows for fresh air.

The cottage also features a working door bell, dutch door and shutters as well as a built in kitchen table, faucet, burner and two seats. Setting up the Neat & Tidy Cottage was simple and I was able to do so easily by myself. All three of my little boys love their playhouse and we have it set up in our garage that we are in the process of converting to a playroom so they don’t have to be out in the HOT heat through the summer but can still be active and play!

They LOVE the swinging door, doorbell, and included phone the best! I really love the open design of the playhouse as my 11 month old can crawl right into the playhouse and stand up at any of the open walls! He loves it and feels like such a big boy being included! This is a really sturdy playhouse that will stand up to YEARS of use!

Step2 Sand & Water Fun Farm Review

Step2 also has great sand and water play tables like their Sand & Water Fun Farm! This cute farm comes with a ton of accessories including a tractor and two carts, farmer, 5 animals, shovel/rake, windmill, drive-thru barn, funnel and spinner as well as removable road tracks, sign, and gate! Setting up the Fun Farm was simple and just took a few snaps together and we were ready to play!

My boys LOVE all the included accessories and that everything can be taken off and moved around, especially the road tracks which they would pull off the track just to make their tractor “crash” into the water! The table can be used with water, sand, or both at the same time with one in each half of the table.

We opted to use just water in the table though as it is really hot here in Phoenix so they really need the water to keep them cool. The boys had SO much fun with this table and my 2.5 year old and 11 month old could probably play for a good hour and not get bored!

The table does have a lot of loose pieces which could get lost easily and also it does not have a plug at the bottom of either compartment for removing the water or a lid. These are non-issues for us as we will continue to use this table for water only and just tip over the table when needed for cleaning.

Step2 Neat & Tidy Cottage retails for $169.99 and is geared for children ages 18 months and up. The Sand & Water Fun Farm retails for $59.99 and is geared for ages 2 and up.

Disclosure: I received a Neat & Tidy Cottage and Sand & Water Fun Farm for free in order to try these products and form an opinion for this review. I was not compensated in any other manner. The opinions expressed above are my own and any claims should be verified on the sponsor’s site.
