We received the Clubhouse Climber to review as well as to host a playdate with a group of friends. This climber is perfect for my family as I have an 18 month old, 3 year old, and 5 year old boys who are always running, climbing, and all over everything!
The climber suggests the age of 2-6, but my 18 month old was in heaven on the climber. He was easily able to climb up the steps and go down both slides without needing any help.
My 5 year old still loved to play as well, though, as he liked to swing from the built in handles above the slides and climb underneath the playground to play hide and seek! The slides on the climber are probably best for 18 months to 3 as they are smaller slides.
The climber was very easy to put together as most pieces slide right into place and then are bolted in to ensure they stay put. We only had difficulty in one spot, when we were trying to put the wrong piece in where two pieces looked very similar.
Once we re-read the directions, though, and found the right piece setup was easy! My boys love the bridge and all the bubble style of windows on the climber. I love how sturdy and solid this climber is! My 3 boys can easily all play on the climber at the same time.
Here are some fun ways my kids came up with to play on the climber: Hide and Seek, Tag, Slide races, Playing “trolls” under the bridge, Driving their “Boat” with the steering wheel, building a fort out of the clubhouse, dropping their cars down the slides, rolling a ball back and forth across the bridge to each other, swinging on the bridge, swinging from the slide handles, and on and on! They have really enjoyed the climber and I have enjoyed them getting outside to play and have fun together as brothers!
Check out this video montage I made that shows you our experience with the Step2 Clubhouse Climber! It also shows our playdate we had and feedback from my attendee’s on the climber!
The Clubhouse Climber retails for $589.99 plus $9.99 shipping through Step2’s website. What creative ways do you think your children would use the Clubhouse Climber to play? Let me know in the comments below!

I don't know if my sons would be super creative with it, as they are obsessed with slides so they would primarily be doing that over and over again! Â I think they might also like peeking through the sides of the walkway too though! Â It looks like a lot of fun for sure!
