Finding shoes for my son is the bane of my existence. I kid you not. This boy has THE hardest feet to buy for. He’s got pretty short feet for his stocky size. They’re slightly wide. And even worse? They’re fat. Or thick. Or whatever word describes from the bottom of his foot to the top of his foot the best.
So in order to accommodate how fat his feet are, they have to be way too long for his short feet. And then he trips and falls all over the place. We always have to use little sandals that have two velcro straps – that’s all that fits! But he certainly can’t wear those in the winter. Or when we go somewhere nice.
I swear these My Shoes for boys from Jack & Lily were heaven sent for our little toddler. First of all, I absolutely love that they are velcro shoes! It’s so much easier than having a wiggly toddler while you’re trying to tie shoes.
They slip onto his fat feet easily. And they work for his feet somehow. So we finally have a nice pair of shoes that he can wear to church, or when we go out to eat, or anywhere that a pair of ugly black velcro sandals just won’t do! 🙂
They are so high quality and I know they’re going to outlast him being able to fit in them. The stitching is great and the soles are plenty thick. They are the perfect shoes!
