  1. We currently don’t own an RV but I have been having serious thoughts about buying one or at least saving up to buy one soon! This list is very handy and will sure print it out for future reference!

  2. I Pinned this for future reference this will be helpful for camping as well as RVing.

  3. We bought an RV last fall so this is our first summer camping. So far the longest trip we have taken was 3 nights which was at a NASCAR race. Your list is great, I’m printing it for future use. I think I have most of the things on your list already. I was missing the games/activity items which was ok because there was plenty to do at the races but there was some down time where something else to do would be nice.

  4. Love this list. I am bookmarking it for the future. I would love to spend a month (or even a week) in an RV

  5. Taking an RV trip is definitely on my to-do list. There are quite a few things on the checklist that I hadn’t thought about, thanks!

  6. After a month on the road, I would say you are the expert! Great list. I always enjoy walking around a campground to see the things people have set up in their camp site. I’ve seen vegetable gardens in pots, all manner of yard d茅cor, clothes lines, you name it.

    1. haha, SO true! The strangest one, to me, was a full on patio set they pulled behind their RV in a storage trailer. Seemed overkill. 馃槈

  7. Great list! It’s hard to remember you basically pack your house necessities for the road. SO much stuff! We love traveling in an RV and I’m a little envious of your family trip!

  8. Such great tips, I’m definitely pinning. We really want to rent an RV one day for a family trip.

  9. i dont like traveling in rv’s. guess b/c used to do alot going to horseshows, gets very crapped after a wk of 4-5 people living in a small space. i like hotels much better…

    1. Lol, we had a blast with all 6 of us in our RV for a 4-week trip… BUT… we had stuff to do almost every day so we didn’t stay cramped up in the space. I really loved RV travel as I didn’t have to pack all the kids stuff in and out of hotels which would have been nearly every day on our trip and they were WAY more comfortable as it was their “space”. If it were me and hubby, though, I’d probably just go for a hotel too.

  10. This is very helpful! It’s my fiance’s dream vacation to go on a road trip in a RV. I always tell him someday we will do it!
