Refreshing Your Style for Spring & Summer

With the weather warming up, it’s time to refresh your wardrobe and break out of the boots and sweaters. For me, I’m ready to break out of my post-baby clothes and refresh my closet to reflect my new look.聽Spring and summer styles often invite聽a more casual and comfy feel. Here are some ideas on refreshing your own wardrobe for the start of the new season.

This is a sponsored post, I am a Sears聽Blogger Squad blogger, though all opinions are my own.

Go Pastel – Nothing brightens up your closet then a handful of soft pastel tops! Counter all the dark jewel tones of fall and winter by bringing in these new peeks of pastels. Bonus: The lighter colors also reflect more light and will be cooler to wear, also.

Get Comfy – Look for comfortable styles that will help you unwind during summer getaways and outdoor activities. We look forward to summer for lots of fun activities together with friends and family, but that fun keeps us busy. Keep yourself comfortable in the midst of your full, sunny days.

Try Skinnies – If you’ve shied away from skinny jeans, now’s your chance to give them a try in a less threatening style. Grab a pair of skinny capris! The Canyon River Blues pair I’m wearing above are super comfy with a give and stretch to the fabric. Bonus: Shorter women won’t feel like the capris are “flood length” as much with a skinny leg opening in contrast聽to聽a straight or bootleg cut.

Add Jewels – Pick out fun, chunky, gemstone or jewel inspired accents to bring in that casual, beach vibe. You can skip heavy jewelry for your spring and summer wardrobes and just pick out a really cute bracelet or necklace to finish off your look.

Don’t Shy From聽Color – If you’ve ever been hesitant towards colored bottoms, this is the time to try them! The fun colors really work for spring and summer! Plus,聽you’ll be surprised by how easy they are to pair with tops!
