Quinny Moodd Stroller Review

I love trying out new strollers and was excited to try out the Quinny Moodd Stroller. This stroller has such a unique design and is totally different then any stroller I have tried in the past. When it arrived I was amazed by how truly simple the stroller was to but together. It comes in several major pieces which all snap simply into place. I think this stroller is so unique and innovative and absolutely fabulous as a travel system. It comes with car seat attachments that let you snap the car seat right onto the frame of the stroller. This makes for a system that is a piece of cake to take along with you to transfer your sleeping infant from the car to the stroller and along with you as you stroll. It isn’t heavy, bulky, or awkward like a traditional travel system and in fact is SO easy to push you don’t feel any of the weight of the stroller at all. The ability to remove the seat completely for a very slim travel system is my favorite feature of this stroller.

Quinny Moodd Stroller Review

I love that not only can this stroller be used for my infant but I can keep the seat stored right with the stroller also and easily switch from strolling my infant in the Mico infant seat to my two year old in the stroller seat. The seat is really narrow in the bum area but neither my nearly 2 or 3.5 year old boys have complained that the stroller is uncomfortable. I wish the stroller would have a longer use life than to just 3.5 (up to 50 lbs or 3.5) but for most of my needs my 3.5 year old walks unless we are at an all day thing. I really love that I can switch the seat from forward to rear facing with very minimal effort and both my boys love that they can ride in different directions. The stroller seat also reclines to nearly flat in either forward or rear facing positions which makes the seat work great for a young infant or a tired toddler. The shade isn’t huge but it seems to be a pretty standard size for most strollers.

As shown in the pictures above, the adult handlebar is adjustable which is great to accomodate different heights. I really love the brake system. The right step locks the stroller’s brakes and pushes the left pedal into the upward position. You can then just step down again on the left step to unlock the stroller which is so smart as I almost always have flip flops on and trying to push up on a brake can be really difficult without shoes! Other features that I really appreciate include the swivel wheel that can be locked into place when needed and an adjustable foot rest. Another really cool feature of the Moodd is the automatic folding! The center child handlebar seemed to more of a hassle than what it was worth as it doesn’t provide any storage space. My boys loved having the handle and holding on, but the handle does have to be removed for them to easily get down. Thankfully, the handle is very easy to remove and reattach but since my kids like to get off and on the stroller, we’ve mostly keep the handlebar attachment off. The stroller is decently small when folded without the seat attached but can also be folded and stored with the seat in forward facing upright position, which does add extra space to the folded dimensions. I can’t wait to use this seat as a travel system with my new arrival as it pushes so smoothly and can grow and change with my needs! It will be easy to keep the stroller seat in the car as well if we need to push one of my other younger two children instead of strolling with the infant car seat to make a stroller that works for a variety of needs on the fly!

You can find the Quinny Moodd Stroller through Amazon. It has a list price of $699.99.

I love how it folds up fairly small for easier storage.
