This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of LLOYD’S® Barbeque Company, LLC. for IZEA. All opinions are 100% mine.
I don’t know about your house, but mine gets pretty crazy during the week. Between school and work, playdates and practices, we get booked up pretty fast. One thing I never skip out on is family dinner. It is so important to me that we all gather together to eat and enjoy each others company. Because of this I am always on the lookout for ways to cut back on prep time of our favorite meals.
One go-to time saver for me is Lloyd’s meat. Lloyd’s Barbeque Tubs make it easy to make any night BBQ night. We have been long time fans of sandwiches made from their pulled pork, but we are finding more and more uses for these tasty tubs! Lloyd’s barbeque also offers seasoned & smoked ribs in a variety of flavors and styles, I can’t wait to try those!
Pizza night is always a hit at our house, and my kids love to make their own pizzas. My husband enjoys it too, but his favorite pizza is BBQ chicken. It can be a little tricker to pull together quickly, so he usually settles for pepperonis. I saw Lloyds Chicken Barbecue tub at the store the other day and had a little lightbulb moment! Here is how we make and enjoy a fast and easy and affordable BBQ Chicken Pizza.
You will need:
- Lloyd’s Barbecue Co Seasoned Shredded Chicken Tub
- Cilantro
- Red Onion
- Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
- Pizza Crust (fresh or store bought)
- EVOO and Course Salt
Preheat your oven according to the dough you are using.
Spread your dough on to a pizza pan, you can use round or rectangular. Whatever floats your boat.
Drizzle with EVOO and sprinkle lightly with course salt.
Sprinkle with cheese, cilantro, and onions.
Heat Lloyd’s Barbecue Chicken according to the directions on the package.
Spread the entire tub onto your pizza crust.
Top with more cheese. Just when you think you have enough, that is when I add a little more.
Put your pizza in the oven. I cooked mine for 10-15 minutes, depends on your choice of crust and your oven. Check it often to make sure you don’t burn it. When the cheese is bubbly and just browning, you will know it is ready.
Let it sit for a few minutes before you cut it, then enjoy while hot and delicious!
