Perfect Date Night – Outback Wood-Fire Grill #OutbackBestMates

I am an #OutbackBestMates brand ambassador. As such, I have received gift cards and compensation as a thank you for my time and efforts. All opinions are 100% my own.

I try to get in dates with my husband whenever we can, and try for at least once a month, but it can be hard getting everything scheduled around an already busy week. Can you relate?

It seems like we spend all week rushing around kids, finishing up projects for work, busy helping at church, and on and on. But my favorite times are always when I get to sneak out of the house and rekindle the fire with my sweetie!

Our only free night in the upcoming few weeks was last night, so I went for it! I scheduled a babysitter, picked up pizza for the kids, and made plans for dinner and a movie. By the time we got out the door, we only had about an hour to eat to be able to make our movie.

As we walked right in at Outback, thankful for no wait on a Thursday night, I warned our waiter we were trying to catch a movie and didn’t have a ton of time. He did an absolutely fantastic job! We were in and out of Outback with a 3-course meal in 45 minutes! We got the wonderful dining experience without having to miss our movie! Perfect!

Outback Special

Right now, for a limited time, Outback is offering an amazing special offer! You can get a 3-course meal for just $11.99!! The meal includes your choice of soup or signature side salad, a wood-fire grilled entree with side, and finishes off your meal with a Classic Cheesecake or Carrot Cake for dessert.

Outback Starter

This was the perfect meal for me! I got their Cesear salad that I love, a Wood-Fire Grilled Outback Special 6 oz Sirloin and mashed potatoes for my meal. I always order the Outback Special, but usually order the classic cook style, so it was really fun to try their wood-grilled prep. It’s just a good as the original seasoning prep, but not as salty.

Outback Steak

Everything was delicious. The absolute highlight of my meal, though, was the Carrot Cake dessert! I’ll admit, I LOVE cheesecake so I always pick the cheesecake dessert. I decided to go with something different — and I’ll never switch back!

Outback Carrot Cake

The carrot cake was so amazing — creamy, sweet, rich, decadent, delicious! It was the best carrot cake I’ve ever tried! It reminds me just why I love Outback, the food is always amazing and the service top notch!

Hurry into Outback for date night, as this special 3-course menu is only available until May 15th!

How to Cut a Bloomin Onion + New Moonshine Menu! #OutbackBestMates - A Mom's Take

Thursday 5th of June 2014

[…] I was so impressed with the new menu items. The wings are absolutely finger lickin’ good. I had to go back and grab a few more. In my opinion, they were even better than the ribs. The macaroni and cheese was so creamy and soft, the way macaroni really should be but rarely is. The dessert was great, but I’m not sure it’ll sway me away from my new favorite, Outback’s carrot cake that I fell in love with at my last Outback visit. […]
