Children’s Music Cds Review

I received various music cds in exchange for this post. All opinions are my own.

When my kids are playing I love to play music for them. Sometimes we dance and sing and sometimes we just let it play in the background. As my son gets older he has started paying closer attention to the words and I have started paying closer attention to what we listen to.

Children’s music can be hard for me because sometimes it is just a little to crazy and grating. However, there are so many great cd’s out there for kids these days!

GRAMMY Nominated, Justin Roberts is truly one of the “all-stars” of the indie family music scene. Justin and The Not Ready for Naptime Players play smart and whimsically rocking music for kids and their parents.

We love this cd. The songs are fun and catchy but not just goofy and silly. My son loves the songs “Looking For Trains” and “My Secret Robot”, this has quickly become one of our most listened to albums.

Trout Fishing In America are an acoustic folk-rock duo comprised of vocalist/guitarist Ezra Idlet and vocalist/bassist Keith Grimwood. They sing fun, silly songs that are catchy. My kids love to dance along to them. This cd is a little silly for our family but I think my kids are just too little. I am sure kids who are an older could listen to and understand the lyrics would have so much fun with it!

Both cds can be purchased on Amazon. Recess here and Rubber Baby Buggy Bumpers here. Prices vary. They are greta titles to add to your children’s music collection. Win both cds today!
