My Maytag Appliances Have Arrived!! First Thoughts! #MaytagMoms

When I first learned I was accepted to the Maytag Moms team, I was so excited! We had to be a bit patient and wait for delivery but when our appliances finally arrived we were so excited!! A crew came in and removed our old appliances and took care of all the installation which was so nice! I loved having everything work flawlessly and being able to feel confident in the installation. Plus, they were quick, too!

Our new appliances look stunning in our home! Once they were settle and into place, the fun came of getting to try out all the features and setup the best layout inside our fridge. In the past few weeks since the appliances were installed we keep discovering all these hidden gems of features we didn’t notice right away. Our very favorite feature is the “measured fill” setting on our Maytag Ice20 Refrigerator. It measures exactly how much water is poured and you can also select to have it fill up your cup to a specified amount of water and walk off to finish other tasks in the kitchen while you wait for your full cup. I use this nearly every time I fill up my cup, now! No more waiting at the fridge door while our water line can sometimes be slow as it moves through our reverse osmosis system! It has been a huge time saver and has also got me drinking much more water throughout the day. Since I now know how much (or I should say how little) water I tend to drink in a day, I’ve been making a much bigger effort to try to get at least 3 full cups (our cups hold 16 oz) a day! My cup is also fuller when it leaves the fridge as I would always get tired of waiting for the cup to fill and pull the cup away and begin to drink rather than waiting for a completely full cup. This means less effort needed for refills, which is one of my biggest deterrents from drinking water throughout the day – an empty cup!

Another feature we love is the Easy Access drawer! You can see on the fridge above there is a drawer between the fridge and bottom freezer. This is a refrigerated section that is perfect for keeping kids snacks in easy reach and my husband loves it for all his variety of vegetables to be able to see very quickly and easy without anything getting buried what vegetables he has on hand. This drawer is so convenient for accessing those items we get to all the time without having to open the whole fridge to do so! I love that our Maytag Jetcleam Plus Dishwasher has buttons that are “hidden” along the top rim of the door so that my little ones no longer push “start” before the dishwasher is full and ready to run. Plus, our dinner plates now fit with ease as do our tall cups, both which we had to have in very specific placements in our last dishwasher to have them fit just right. Our Maytag 6.2 cu ft capacity electric range has a really neat Triple-Choice feature that lets you heat the main heating element in your choice of 3 different sizes, depending on your need. The other front heat element has speed heat that heats up SO quickly! Our Over-the-Range Microwave has a lot of room and can even fit a baking pan as large as 10×15″! The fan on it is pretty loud but it does eliminate all smells while it is running giving us an odor free kitchen!

With the holidays quickly approaching I am glad to know I will be able to depend on these great Maytag appliances! They are all backed by a 10-year warranty! How miserable would it be to have your oven go out on you on Thanksgiving day? Or your fridge right before your child’s birthday party? While I know these types of things can and do happen in our every day lives, I feel very confident in the quality and dependability of my new appliances. They have already stood up to lots of use in these first few weeks and helped us overcome typical challenges we used to face like fitting a large sheet cake into our fridge, which was a breeze this time around!
