Modern Fall Decor Ideas + Free Printable

I love decorating my home for the Holidays. This fall, I decided that I wanted my decor to be modern, yet festive.聽聽I wanted to create some decor that could pass for both Halloween and Thanksgiving without costing an arm and a leg. On a small budget, I decided to head to the local thrift store to see what I could find. With a little creativity and a few bottles of spray paint, you too can decorate your home with modern fall decor.

In the kitchen, these DIY candy jars are a big hit; filling them with “fall” colored candy, these tasty centerpieces are a family favorite. The best part about these DIY candy jars is that you can switch out the candy based on the upcoming Holiday. To make these DIY candy jars, all you have to do is hot glue glasses onto candle sticks. I bought all of my candle sticks and jars at a local thrift store for $0.50-$1 a piece. Using a white glossy spray paint, I colored them white – love how they turned out!

This year, I decided that I wanted to use my DIY Wall Shelves to display some fall decor. On these shelves, I included items such as gold spray painted dollar store pumpkins, a burlap banner, a mason jar filled with popcorn kernels, gold candle sticks (with white spray painted holders), a chalkboard labeled jar and pumpkin, and a “harvest” themed floral arrangement.
