Garage Playroom Makeover!
If you recall I gave a sneak peak and a “before” post of my hopeful playroom makeover two weeks ago. After a Saturday of painting and preparing my room I’m thrilled to get to show it off!! I’m so happy with how the colors turned out and it has been amazing having the extra space!! Time for the big paint makeover reveal!!

When I first started painting the Amethyst Haze color I felt a bit nervous as it seemed much more a blue tint then a grey but as the colors both came together to accent each other they look so awesome together! I had picked out the colors based on Glidden’s paint suggestions of their top 10 accent colors.
I loved the Steel Blue and thought the suggested pair of Amethyst Haze would be a perfect match for the look I was going for. With Glidden Brilliance you get a 2-in-1 Paint and Primer in the gallon. This was perfect for me as my project was painting over a chalky white paint that would typically need a primer first.
Having both the primer and the paint together made this project so quick to paint! I did the whole area in half a day doing the majority of the painting completely myself! I did struggle a lot with doing the ceiling edging which hasn’t really been a problem for me in the past so I’m not sure if that has to do with the paint having the primer in it or what. But check out how awesome these colors look together!
We are so thrilled with our after room and my garage now feels like an actual playroom and not a dingy uncomfortable space! It has totally transformed the entire feel of the room! Glidden Brilliance paint is available at Walmart.
