Educational Fun with Block Party

I received Block Party in compensation for this post. All opinions expressed are my own.

Many wonderful childhood memories involve meticulously crafting tall buildings out of wooden blocks. However, as a child, my favorite part of building these structures was knocking all the blocks down and then starting again from scratch. After all, what child doesn’t enjoy sending a tall tower of blocks plummeting to the ground?

Wanting to help others rediscover the power of building blocks, siblings Courtney and Alex created Block Party. Block Party consists of 41 blocks and 3 fun educational games: Strike Out (teaches building balance), Ten Towers (tests shape recognition and building skills), and Pair Up (a fun twist on the classic matching game). Made in the USA, these beautiful Naked Maple and Beeswax Cherry all natural blocks provide fun for the whole family.

I love everything about Larsen Toy Lab’s Block Party. As a mother, I am all for educational (yet fun) games to play with my son. Although my little toddler isn’t quite old enough to recognize shapes, I can’t wait to use these blocks as a wonderful teaching aid. Block Party seriously makes learning fun. Each game is crafted to help with shape recognition, steady hand, and building skills. I love how I was able to make these blocks personalized by having my son’s name engraved on the building platform – this is a toy he can cherish forever. Here’s a few pictures of the fun we had with each of the games:

My son and I also have a lot of fun using Block Party for imaginative play. We enjoy building large towers together. Like-mother-like-son, my little guy can’t wait to finish our tower so he can send all of the blocks tumbling to the ground. Block Party is a perfect gift for the upcoming holiday season. I treasure these stunning blocks and can’t wait to cherish them as a family for years to come.
