Easy Date Night Make-Up
Okay, let’s keep it real. I am a stay at home mom of a two-year-old and three-year-old. My husband is in his last year of dental school and is not home that often. My daily look is some moisturizer, concealer, and mascara. I am usually sporting a top knot and whatever yoga pants or jeans and t-shirt combo I happen to throw on in the morning. I am not saying I don;t take care of myself, but it seems silly to get all dolled up to finger paint and clean up chocolate milk spills!

When the weekend rolls around I love to squeeze in a date night with the husband. Sometimes we don’t make it out but at home dates are our favorites! No matter where we are headed or not headed I try to spend a little extra time on myself. For myself just as much as him! It is so good to feel extra pretty every once and awhile!
Do you ever watch Project Runway? I love all the glam looks the models wear on that show. If they can pull it off why can’t the rest of us! I fell in love with this smoky emerald look from this seasons show. The green is so bold and I love the darker lips. It is so glamorous! I wanted to recreate it for date night, but I chose to go with a brown color palate instead.
Way easier than I thought. Mary Kay makes amazing products that keep all of us right on trend. I have absolutely fallen in love with their Gel Eyeliner. It is a dream to work with and so easy to apply. I swear once you try it you will never go back! So what is holding you back? Got a hot date or a night on the town with the girlfriends?
