Beginnings Imagined
I received a custom illustration and Playtex聽products in exchange for this post. All opinions are my own. 
Kids are amazing. I remember, shortly after finding I was pregnant for the first time, talking to my husband. Did we think it was a boy or a girl? What would we name them? Who would they become? And over the course of the next nine months I dreamed and planned for that sweet little baby. Plans became more specific when we found out we were excepting a little boy, and I started to get to know him as I memorized his sweet little and some times not so little kicks and rolls. 
Then he arrived. We finally decided on a name and everything else seemed to be completely out of our control. It is crazy to me that something so small and helpless can have such strong opinions about everything! But they do! They come knowing who they are, they come with funny traits, they come hard wired with talents and聽individual qualities. It is so cool. Then they start to grow and with them you continue to imagine where their lives will take them. What will they do with their creativity? How will they use those traits and talents? What will they choose to do with their lives.
