Spicy Pull Apart Bread Recipe

Most of the recipes I make are geared towards my kids preferences or my own preferences. Once in a while, though, I want to make a recipe for a group of my husband’s friends, like when the big game rolls around. I know anything spicy will be a hit. This recipe for Spicy Pull Apart Bread works perfect as an appetizer and it’s simple to make! Warning – these bites are HOT! If you can’t handle too much heat, cut back on the Cayenne pepper and have a drink ready!

Spicy Pull Apart Bread

Ingredients:

  • 2 cans of Grands layered biscuits
  • 2 tablespoons of Cayenne
  • 2 teaspoons crushed red pepper
  • 2 teaspoons black pepper
  • 2 teaspoons hot sauce
  • 1/4 cup of Parmesan cheese
  • 1 stick of butter

This recipe uses ready made rolls, but you could make your own bread dough if you prefer. You’ll rip up each of the Grands! biscuits into quarters and toss them into a medium sized bowl. Then, mix together all your seasonings and then evenly coat your bread bits.

Melt the butter in a round baking pan in the oven. When the butter is melted, remove the pan and tilt the pan to evenly coat the bottom of your dish. Then, the fun begins! Layer the coated bread pieces slightly overlapping around your pan. Then, just pop the pull apart bread in for 20 minutes and it’s ready to go! If you want to serve the bread with something, you can use a side of olive oil, barbecue sauce, ranch, or your favorite dipping sauce.
