Don’t let clutter pile up, instead keep these easy tricks in mind to help you reduce clutter in your home!

1. Ditch the paper stash – As soon as you walk into the door with a pile of mail, sort, ditch, and file it away.

3. One in, one out rule – When new toys, books, or clothes let them take place of something old, worn out, or broken to keep from over-stuffing your home.

4. Store items where they are used – When you keep things where they are used it is much easier for everyone in the family to put them away and avoid piles.

5. Everyone pitch in – Let every member of the family have a responsibility like wiping down the counter or loading the dishwasher. Getting the simple jobs down will keep the home cleaner which will help you avoid clutter.

Ugh, I am bad about the paper clutter. I like to save things I "may" need... but rarely do I need it. It is just the one time that I really DO need it that I feel silly for throwing it out.
