Wild Ophelia Chocolate Bars Review

Wild Ophelia Chocolate Review

Wild Ophelia Exotic Chocolate Bars are the result of a few smart plans that “Wild Ophelia” hatched during her childhood years while running the sweet stand at their summer garage sales.  Instead of the typical, boring lemonade, she decided to serve beef jerky dipped in molten milk chocolate that she melted in the hot sun. From there, her little side-street menu swiftly transitioned to other chocolate experimentations… fresh peaches and hibiscus, sweet cherries and pecans, BBQ potato chips.  Welcome to her world of chocolate with a flair for the unexpected!

Wild Ophelia Chocolate Review

These Wild Ophelia Chocolate Bars were such fun and interesting varieties!  We took these chocolate bars out to a family get together and had a little taste test.  I’m not the best judge of dark chocolate, since I am a milk chocolate girl at heart.  My favorite was the Salted Chowchilla Almond bar!  My husband, however, is all about dark chocolate, and these chocolate bars were no exception.  His favorite was, by far, the New Orleans Chili – he loves dark chocolate, he loves spicy, and this chocolate bar married the two perfectly.  I was pleasantly surprised by the Hibiscus Peach bar.  I do not like foods that taste of floral.  But that wasn’t the case at all – it was sweet and pleasant!  Overall, the Salted Chowchilla  Almond won the taste test, but everyone enjoyed all the flavors.  Not only are the flavors fun, but the chocolate is high quality chocolate that is creamy and smooth.

You can buy Wild Ophelia Chocolate Bars from their website.  A 4-Chocolate Bar Gift Bag is $13.99.

a new choc factory opened in my area and they have all sorts of different choc. things that you thought would taste terrible are great. i think the peaches and hibiscus would taste good, dont know abt the potato chips, but i am not a potato chip eater. i also think the sweet cherries and pecans would be good.

I think I'd like the Salted Chowchilla Almond bar also. I do like dark chocolate as well though.
