Tillamook is a cooperative company – as opposed to a corporation. Their company is based on the cooperative support of the farmers/owners and all profits stay within the family of those investors that allow them to continue to produce the highest-quality milk.

The Tillamook brand carries a commitment to quality using the best milk from well-cared for cows without artificial growth hormones. Their cheddar is aged slowly and naturally; yogurt that needs no artificial colors, flavors or sweeteners; and Ice Cream with just the right amount of creaminess.

In fact, Tillamook Medium Cheddar is an award winning cheese that took the gold medal for the “Best Medium Cheddar in the World”!

We are HUGE fans of Tillamook Cheese! In fact, it’s the only cheese we buy because we notice that much of a difference. My personal favorite is Tillamook’s Medium Cheddar Cheese but we sometime choose their Pepper Jack, Sharp Cheddar Cheese, Colby Jack, and even their Vintage White Extra Sharp Cheddar Cheese.

Since cheese has a pretty generous expiration date, we often pick up 5 or 6 blocks of cheese at a time because running out of cheese is the worst!! 🙂 I promise, you won’t be disappointed if you give Tillamook a try, we haven’t found anything better!
