Super Bowl Dippers
Guys. The big day is right around the corner!? Super Bowl Sunday!! Are you a football fan? Or a commercial fan? I am an food fan! I love to use Super Bowl Sunday as an excuse to gather my friends and family around me and eat a whole bunch of really yummy food as we laugh and talk. When I think football I think hot dogs, and hamburgers, and french fries, and appetizers. Just thinking about it is making me hungry.
I have been compensated for this post, all ideas and opinions are my own.
There is no greater condiment for all these delicious treats than Heinz庐 Tomato Ketchup. If you ask my kids, Heniz is the perfect side for just about anything dippable. I have to agree. But with a huge party I love to find new ways to fancy up my Heinz庐 Tomato Ketchup. Here are two of our favorite dips to have around for Super Bowl Sunday.
My mother-in-law has legendary BBQ chicken. It is a huge family favorite and since she shared the recipe with me years ago, it has been the hit of many a party. It is perfect for grilling, adding to sandwiches, or for dipping some chicken fingers or fries.
Homemade BBQ Sauce-
- 3/4 Cup聽Heinz Tomato Ketchup
- 3/4 Cup Water (1/2 this if you are grilling or want a thicker sauce)
- 2 Tablespoons Apple Cider Vinegar
- 2 Tablespoons Worcestershire Sauce
- 1 Tablespoon Salt
- 1 Teaspoon Paprika
- 1/2 Teaspoon Pepper
- 1 Teaspoon Chili Powder
Mix well and dip away or brush on meat before/during grilling.
This sweet and tangy sauce is the perfect dipper for meatballs. You can make a batch of your favorite homemade meatballs or you can just grab a bag of frozen ones and heat them up in your crock pot. Either way this dip is the perfect compliment for dunking.
Meatloaf Dippers-
- 6 Tablespoons Brown Sugar
- 1/2 cup聽Heinz庐 Tomato Ketchup
- 1 Tablespoon Dijon Mustard
- 1 Tablespoon Regular Mustard
- 1-2 shakes of Nutmeg
Mix well. You might need to double or triple this one, trust me!
Heinz wants to know, how do you happy? There are many things that make me happy, but being gathered together with my friends and family for a great meal and a good time in my home is where I am happiest.

Those look so good! My kids would love those recipes. I am definitely going to try them soon!
Heinz is such a good condiment for any of your needs. I never thought about making meat loaf dippers though.
Anything dipable is perfect for game day. You’ve got me hungry now.
The homemade BBQ sauce would be great. I have a friend who can’t eat tomato products so I have to come up with alternatives.
I never made homemade bbq sauce. I’ll haveto try it someday!
I’ve never made my own BBQ sauce. When not using BBQ sauce in my meatloaf I use ketchup.
It’s all about the dip, isn’t it? Yummy!
The only brand I buy, there are certain things I skimp on and ketchup is not it, has to be the Heinz brand for sure!
Those meatloaf dippers sound like they would be right up my husband’s alley! I’ll have to make these soon.
I love making home made barbecue sauce. I think it tastes better than the store bought stuff.
The meatloaf dippers sound amazing! I can’t wait to give both of these a try.
YUM! Those dippers look amazing! Totally want to try that homemade BBQ sauce!
I ad no idea it could be so easy and much cheaper to make your own BBQ sauce! Thanks for the recipe.
I love BBQ sauce (especially on onion rings, NOM), but I have never made my own. That sounds awesome.
