Lawry’s Dinnertisement

Lawry’s Dinnertising site let’s you create a commercial personalized for your children – a “Dinnertisement” that bring the fun of commercials your kids love to help get them excited and interested in what’s for dinner that evening. We made a Dinnertisement using Lawry’s recipe for Santa Fe Steak with Pineapple & Bell Pepper Salsa.

We tried this recipe this week and it was fun to try something totally different then we usually prepare. The recipe was very quick and easy to make with just a few easy steps and less than 30 minutes total cook/prep time! While I was making the meal, I played the Dinnertisement I had created for my boys and they hit re-play at least 10 times and thought the commercial was really fun. When I told them we were eating that for dinner, they said “The Car Dinner!!??” And expected their meal to be delivered on car wheels! 🙂 The steak had a great flavor and my 3 year old completely devoured his plates worth.
