Last Minute Christmas Shopping Tips!

We’re officially down to the wire, with just 3 days left until Christmas! That means, you have just a little bit over 48 hours left to finish up your shopping. Shopping and planning for gifts last minute can be stressful, but with these last minute Christmas shopping tips, you’ll be able to avoid the crowds and snag those perfect gifts just in time!

This is a sponsored post, I am a Sears blogger, though all opinions are my own.

Last-Minute Christmas Shopping Tips 1

1. Keep a Gift Stash – I love keeping a few extra gifts on hand for when that last minute gifting need arises. That could mean the last minute birthday party invite or an unexpected guest to a holiday party – keeping a few nice gifts that are perfect for any recipient on hand makes those last minute gifting opportunities a breeze. Some of my favorite gifts to keep on hand:

  • Puzzles
  • Board or Card Games
  • Hot Wheels
  • Tools
  • Earbuds
  • Lotion gift set
  • Blu-ray movies
  • RC Helicopter

2. Buy Gift Cards – It may seem unsentimental, but gifting a gift card to a store they love will let them pick out something they are certain to love! Instead of guessing what they will like, this will give them the chance to pick out something they’ve been wishing for. You can purchase eGift cards that can be printed and disguised for cute delivery! Try hiding the gift card on the Christmas Tree or slipping it in with another small gift to double the gift! Bonus: Many retailers offer an extra gift card during the Christmas season just for purchasing gift cards, including Sears!

Sears is offering an exclusive bonus gift card when you make a gift card purchase now through Christmas! For each $50 gift card purchased, you’ll earn a $10 bonus gift card to use during the award period. Or, purchase a $100 gift card and earn a $20 bonus gift card!

Bonus gift cards can be redeemed between December 12, 2015 through January 31, 2016. That means, you can buy gift cards as your gift, and then turn around and use your bonus gift cards to pick up last minute gifts for your loved ones!

3. Shop Online – You might be thinking you are out of time for online shopping, but that’s not always true! A lot of stores allow you to purchase online and pick-up the same day in stores. By pre-purchasing your items before you head in stores, you’ll avoid the hustle and bustle of the crowds as you head right to the pick-up.

Sears offers in-store pick-up, and will even deliver your gifts right to your car! Just order online or from the Sears app, then wait for the confirmation that your order is ready. Then, head to your local store and pull up right in front to the In-Vehicle Pickup loading spot or one of the first few reserved parking spots and select In-Vehicle Pickup from the app to confirm you are at the store ready for delivery. Your order will be delivered in a few minutes and you’ll be on your way without a fuss!

I’m in love with the In-Vehicle Pickup service by Sears! I literally had my order delivered to my car in :46 seconds! My two little boys who were in tow did not have to be unbuckled or dragged through the store while we picked up a gift perfect for the holiday season! It truly couldn’t have been easier! I opened my sliding door (spy my cuties still buckled below) and the Sears representative scanned the barcode for my order right from my phone and I was on my way.

4. Shop With a Buddy – Tag team shopping for last minute gifts will double task holiday visits with gift shopping. You can divide and conquer by taking on half the list while they grab items from the other half. Or, use one buddy to wait in line while you briskly head through the stores to grab those few last minute gifts and be on your way.
