Inspiration for a Bathroom Makeover

A few months ago, we did a big master bedroom design makeover project and made a few simple changes that made a huge impact on the way our room felt. It was amazing how adding in color and texture, even on a budget, completely transformed our room without having to change any of the main elements of our room. Ever since, we have been antsy for our bathroom makeover since it is right off our bedroom. I am so excited to be able to work with Delta Faucet to update my bathroom faucets and finally start my bathroom transformation! Here’s a peek at our boring master bathroom I can’t wait to start transforming!

So the first question I asked myself is what kind of design did I want for my bathroom. Delta has a neat style quiz that you can take that gives you simple options among more common decor choices such as selecting your preferred dining chair or tea pot. After the fun 5-question quiz your style type is revealed and you are offered suggestions for what types of faucet fits your typical style.

Delta What's My Style Quiz

My style was “Transitional” and one of the faucet types recommended for me was the Lahara line. I was immediately drawn to the Lahara line of faucets. I love the smooth curvy lines that give such a sleek look. I did go and peek at all the different faucet styles available but every single time I came right back to the Lahara faucet. Then, I showed my husband the styles and he too liked the Lahara line best! It was really easy for me to pick my favorite style with the tools available. Plus, I am so excited about the touch features! Their Touch20.xt technology lets you turn on your faucet either with touch or using the sensor letting you clean your hands without transferring the mess or germs! The sensing features uses a 4-inch field around the entire faucet. It uses highly responsive and reliable sensing rather than infared technology so lighting and other factors won’t impact the sensor’s ability.

  9. My bathroom was decorated by my husband and he choose to decorate it in a sea/beach theme. He has actually decorated all of the rooms in are apartment but I was recently talking to him about redecorating every room once we move into the larger apartment we are waiting to move into as soon as it become vacant in our complex. I have already had some ideas on all the rooms except for the bathroom but now that I think of it perhaps I would like to decorate it in a frog theme.

  10. We just did a complete remodel of our bathroom (we have just one in our house). Not a lot of fun, but the end result is so worth it. My two favorite features are the recessed mirrored medicine cabinet and the higher countertop. Now my 6’2″ husband doesn’t have to bend himself in half to brush his teeth!
I also love the Delta Lahara fixtures; they were definitely on my short list of favorites.
