Give Freedom, Without Giving up Peace of Mind

As a parent, like most of you, I struggle to let my kids grow up. It’s hard to know when appropriate milestones are for giving kids that extra bit of freedom. What is the best age to let them walk to school alone? How old should they be before I can leave them home alone? At what age are they old enough for their own cell phone? There is not really a hand book for these things and each child is different. But with Krew Mobile, they take the question out of age appropriate cell phone use.

This post is sponsored. All opinions are my own.

Krew Mobile is a new cell service sweeping the nation. Their goal is to “redefine the American family plan and educate kids about responsible cell phone ownership”. That means, they get the freedom of owning a cell phone, without you cutting all the strings yet.

Krew Mobile is an affordable family cell service where the parent still has the ability to guide the child. With the various parental controls, you set the limits, making sure they develop healthy habits as they grow. Parents have the ability to monitor the child’s usage and turn the kids’ lines on and off. 1. I pay around $120 per month for my family’s cell phone bill. $39 is a bargain! Will definitely be checking this out.

  2. My kids do not have cell phones but they do have tablets. We limit their daily screen time to like 3 hours or so total.

  3. This is a great idea. I would love to join the Pilot Program. I love that it can grow with the child.

  4. That sounds like a great way to loosen the reins as your kids grow. We are still navigating these waters.

  5. This is fantastic! Our oldest (11) has a standard (non smart) cell phone for emergency purposes but something like this would be even better for us. The amount of young children that have social media accounts is downright scary!

  6. This sounds like an amazing program for families currently with kids using mobile devices or considering it. I definitely wouldn’t want my children browsing without some sort of protection or monitoring.

  7. Would be perfect. Kids need a leash when it comes to the Internet because there’s just way too many dangerous things out there. My child is still too young for it but when it comes time I really hope that there is a whole lot of stuff out there like this.

  8. What an amazing way to monitor without being overbearing! Sounds like a great price for a family plan!

  9. What an inventive concept! I love that the product allows for the kids to grow with it, so the parents don’t have to worry about them being too young! Very cool!
