Chalupas Recipe

Do you love Mexican food? I have a fabulous recipe for to make an authentic Chalupa! This is such an easy meal that we eat Chalupas at least once a week and even the kids like them! Here’s my recipe!

Chalupas –
– Corn Tortillas
– Vegetable Oil
– Rosarita Refried Beans
– Cheese, grated
– Rotel Tomatoes & Chilies
– Sour Cream, Salt, Pepper (Optional)

Fry up the corn tortillas in about a half an inch of vegetable oil. You will want your oil to be hot before you start, and watch your shells carefully so they don’t burn. You’ll need to flip them over once as well to cook both sides. Once the shell is a bit crispy you can take it out of the oil. Grate your cheese and warm the beans in the microwave for 1-2 minutes until hot. Then spread the beans onto the corn tortilla shell. Next, add cheese, tomatoes, and then sour cream, salt, and pepper as desired. Enjoy!
