Busy Mom Tips

I’m a full time mom, a full time house wife, full time student and a part time blogger. I’m busy, all the time. Hobbies, fun, what are those? I, like most of you super women out there, get burnt out. I forget things. I drop a few balls on occasion. Since we can’t make more hours in a day, we should find a way to make better use of our hours. I’ve brought together some things I think might help all of us SUPER busy moms.

This is a sponsored post. All opinions are my own.

To do list. If you are anything like me, keeping everything I have to do at the forefront of my mind is hard. If I have a huge list of deadlines, I have to write them down or they will be forgotten. I am an organizational freak and love to make check lists. Being able to check things off makes me feel good when I can see all the things I have accomplished. This is the checklist I made and use at home, it really helps.

Don’t procrastinate. I cannot put things off. If I wait until the last minute, things start to pile and I feel the time crunch. I start to panic and am not a fun person. Getting things done in advance allows for the unexpected things to be handled easier. Try to start things a few days before they are due and work a little on them each day. Work on things that are most important and have the nearest deadline.

Get things ready ahead of time. I’m sad to say I’m not as good at this one as I want to be. I spend my mornings hunting for shoes and trying to locate homework folders. By getting things ready and set up beforehand, the stress and the time spent on busy mornings is lessened. Pack lunches the night before. Be sure to find and set out shoes, clothes and get those backpacks in order.

Shipt– Grocery shopping, especially with kids, can take hours out of your day. The fits and “I wants”, can be frustrating. Shipt has made grocery shopping as simple as click and done. To use Shipt, all you need is the app and an account.

Shipt employs local shoppers who are trained to pick out the best produce and provide awesome service. Order online or through the app by picking the items you need. You can search by product or brand. After your order has been placed, a shopper will head to the store to pick up all of your needed items. Your groceries will then be delivered right to your door. No more tantrums in the store, stopping what you’re doing to head to the store, or packing up that new born with all it’s gear.
