6. Go on a hunt for the perfect Christmas tree.

7. Shop with a $5 budget聽and try to pick out a perfect gift for someone together.

8. Watch your favorite Christmas movies (I recommend Elf!)

9.聽Bake and frost sugar cookies.

10. Play in the snow! Build a snowman, lay down and make snow angel, toss snowballs at each other, and聽act like kids again.

11. Pick a name from a giving tree and shop for gifts for someone in need together.

12. Shop for ugly Christmas sweaters at a thrift store.

13. Cut and craft paper snowflakes and decorate your home or car with them.

14. Make a homemade potato soup, then enjoy your meal together.

15. Discuss your New Year resolutions, and start making progress on a goal together. Like if you want to lose weight for the new year, hit the gym together, or if you want to cook from home more then take a cooking class together.

  4. Driving around and looking at the Christmas lights is something my husband and I enjoy doing every year. Maybe we will ditch the kids this year and call it a date, the kids aren’t nearly as enthusiastic about it as we are.
